The cover stars for FIFA 20 have been revealed, with Eden Hazard and Virgil Van Dijk taking the top spot.
Eden Hazard will front the Standard Edition, fresh from his £88.5 million moves to Real Madrid this summer. Liverpool’s Virgil van Dijk is the cover star of the Champions Edition.

They replace FIFA 19’s Kevin De Bruyne, Neymar and Paulo Dybala, who themselves ousted Cristiano Ronaldo midway through last year’s game cycle.

“Back on the cover of @EASPORTSFIFA,” Hazard tweeted following the announcement. “Not bad for a lad from a small village in Belgium!”
So far EA hasn’t confirmed who will front the Ultimate Edition of the game, but have hinted that the cover star will be announced “soon”.
The news comes hot on the heels of the FIFA 20 gameplay trailer, which landed last week. We also recently found out about some big improvements to FIFA 20’s Pro Clubs, including increased customization for Virtual Pros, new match types, and more kits.

FIFA 20 is due for release September 24, and will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and the Nintendo Switch.
